where is that green card?

The delay of the green card has enabled me to exprience a Michigan Autumn. The leaves are turning magnificent oranges and reds. One day I'm wrapped up in scarf and gloves, the next, it's singlet and shorts weather! Nate and I are developing a custom of drinking hot, spiced apple cider over the Scrabble board. Last weekend Nate and his sister, Sara, and her new hubby, Eric, introduced me to pumpkin carving. I'm the swirl and Nate's the evil eyes, of course.

As of today, October 18th, the green card could be anywhere from 3 to 12 months away! We were hoping to be back in Australia by now, but instead of just waiting around, Nate and I have decided take some steps towards long term overseas mission. We're going to enroll at bible college in the USA to start in Feb 2008. Not sure which one - maybe Golden Gate in San Francisco or Southern Baptist in Louisiana. Pray for wisdom for us!

If the green card comes through before American summer, we should be able to visit Aus around June/July next year...
